I am six feet tall, forty-five, blonde, well-spoken, and often told I look younger than my years. I take care of myself because I enjoy the discipline of it: incredibly soft skin, long blonde hair, good posture, and a body that reflects the effort I put into it.

I did, quite literally, leave school with a book on my head.

Some of it clearly worked.

I speak several languages, travel easily, and have never been afraid of boarding a plane for the right invitation. My life is a rather lovely mixture of refinement and restlessness: I love sailing, especially when there is enough sun to make the deck more tempting than the ropes; I love skiing, tennis with the right partner, and chess with someone who does not mind being studied across the board.

I am also a shameless nerd.

I do my own coding, enjoy the satisfaction of solving a problem properly, and can separate molecules with more confidence than I can boil an egg.

That contradiction is probably the best introduction to me.

Intelligent, feminine, playful, polished, and not quite as predictable as I may first appear.

I enjoy elegance, but I am not ornamental. I like beautiful things, but I am not decorative. I can be composed, affectionate, mischievous, exacting, warm — and in the right company, very much alive.

A little wit, kindness, and good manners will always interest me more than a performance.
