A small deposit is required to secure the arrangement.

For shorter local meetings, this is usually £50. For longer dates, travel-based arrangements, DMTY or FMTY, the deposit will be higher and agreed before anything is confirmed.

Once your deposit is received, that time is held for you. I arrange my day around it, decline other possibilities, and treat it as reserved.

The remaining balance is settled when we meet, exactly as agreed.
